Remember when Trump made a pit stop in Pennsylvania to master the art of making fries? Or maybe to throw some shade at Kamala Harris? A video has emerged of him interacting with this proud Indian man at the takeout counter, who couldn’t resist showering Trump with compliments and expressing his wish for him to become president again.

A viral video with more than 4 million views shows Trump wearing an apron as he watches fresh potatoes being dipped in simmering oil to become golden brown and crispy. He then took the package to the window to service a car that had just stopped. He was greeted with a cheerful “namaste” by an energetic Indian national at the takeaway counter, who was accompanied by a woman in the passenger seat.

As the former president handed him the order while shaking his hand, the excited customer exclaimed, “Thank you, Mr. President!” He added: “You made it possible for ordinary people like us to be here.” During a brief interview with Trump, who responded kindly, the man continued to express his gratitude, repeatedly calling Trump “Mr. President” and emphasizes that he wants him to win the upcoming US elections. The lady then jokes, “Thanks for taking the bullet for us.”

Internet reacts to viral Trump video

The video posted by HodgeTwins was captioned: “All Americans love Trump.” But the internet was quick to make fun of the friendly interaction between the two, highlighting it as the most “Indian thing an Indian man can do.” “I’m dying, oh God!” one person responded with laughing emojis. “Did he even understand what he said?” asked another. “That man and his wife are so sincere; they will remember this forever,” a third added. “Wow, look at him so excited, but wait… an ordinary person? Yes, apparently Trump will send back all the migrants.”

Multiple videos from that day surfaced showing the former president, who has a penchant for fast food, taking over as a large crowd gathered outside the McDonald’s in Feasterville-Trevose, a swing zone in Bucks County. He even interacted with reporters while leaning outside the takeout window, playfully mentioning that he would get one of them some ice cream. However, Trump continued to dodge questions about the minimum wage. What he didn’t avoid was taking a swipe at his opponent Kamala Harris, calling her “Lyin’ Kamala” and expressing skepticism about her claims that she had worked at McDonald’s.

Harris’ campaign criticizes Trump after McD appearance

During his visit to the popular fast food chain, which he wrapped up shortly before watching the Pittsburgh Steelers game against the New York Jets, Trump repeatedly claimed, “I’ve now worked 15 minutes more than Kamala at McDonald’s.” In response, Harris’ spokesman Joseph Costello noted that Trump’s visit to the fast-food restaurant highlighted what a second term under him would entail: “abusing employees for his own benefit.”

Ian Sam, spokesman for the Harris campaign, added: “If Trump feels desperate, all he can do is lie,” Sams said. “He can’t understand what it’s like to have a summer job because he was handed millions on a silver platter, only to have it screwed up.”
