The ePremier League returns for the 2024/25 season

The Premier League and Electronic Arts today announce the return of the ePremier League for the 2024/25 season.

Entering its seventh season, the competition offers fans a chance at glory by winning the ePremier League title for their favorite club, along with a share of the £100,000 prize pool and seats in the eChampions League and the FC Pro World Championship.

This season’s competition will take place on the newly launched EA SPORTS FC 25, and UK players aged 16 and over can register now at e.premierleague.com.

When does it all start?

ePremier League (ePL) live events will once again span two action-packed weekends. The first of these, the ePL group stage, will take place on March 1-2, 2025, with the top four clubs booking their places for the ePL finals on Sunday, March 23.

The remaining teams will have a second chance to join them by playing again on Saturday, March 22, with the competition concluding the following day.

The format of this season’s live competitions will see clubs work collaboratively, with one player competing on Xbox and another on PS, in a series of 1v1 matches against pairs from other clubs.

Who will compete?

Some of the biggest names in EA SPORTS FC esports have played in the ePL in the past, such as two-time champion Donovan “Tekkz” Hunt, who will compete once again.

Tekkz and Matías Bonanno were crowned champions of the 2023/24 ePL with Manchester City. After some difficult matches en route to the final, they beat Brighton & Hove Albion 2-1 on aggregate to lift the trophy.

Tekkz said: “Winning the 2023/24 ePremier League and lifting the trophy alongside Mati was an incredible feeling. We worked hard and pushed each other to do our best throughout the competition.

“It was a great honor to claim the title on behalf of Manchester City and to be able to call myself a two-time ePremier League champion was a proud moment in my career. We are looking forward to defending the title this season. Our goal will be to break more records by becoming the first players and clubs in the history of the ePremier League to win it consecutively!
