The brother of former Vice President Arc Mohammed Namadi Sambo, Alhaji Suleiman Sambo, has died.

He died on Monday at the age of 82 after a long illness.

Alhaji Suleiman Sambo is survived by his wife, 11 children, 52 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.

Until his death, he worked in the Government Printing Department within the defunct Ministry of Information and Internal Affairs of Kaduna State, retiring as Chief Superintendent in 1994 after 35 years of dedicated service.
The funeral of Alhaji Suleiman Sambo was held yesterday at Bashama Road Cemetery.

The service was attended by family, relatives and supporters, including former Vice President Namadi Sambo, as well as religious and traditional leaders.
