Unadilla man charged with possession of child pornography

TOWN OF UNADILLA, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – An Unadilla man is accused of possessing child pornography.

On Thursday, the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of 29-year-old Eugene Buzie. He was charged with possession of a sexual performance by a child.

On July 19, Buzie was arrested by investigators on multiple charges related to sex crimes. Upon further investigation, it was determined that Buzie had requested, received, and possessed a sexual performance from a child through an online platform.

Because Buzie was incarcerated on the previously filed charge, he was taken from the Oneida County Jail on October 17 to be processed on the new charge. He was processed at the Otsego County Jail and returned to the Onieda County Jail with an appearance ticket that could be returned to the City of Unadilla at a later date.
