How Teacher Tabby rose to fame

The viral teacher went against some traditional Kenyan societal expectations of how a teacher should act or look.

It all started when a video of her celebrating missing a class surfaced on social media.

Dressed in a formal black dress and matching heels, Tabby danced after hearing her class had been canceled.

Many Kenyans were impressed by her demeanor as others wished they had a teacher like that in high school.
