New Jersey police bust .2 million meth operation

Hampton, NJ** – The Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office conducted a narcotics investigation resulting in the arrest of an individual for possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute.

After a month-long investigation, 29-year-old Ranjeet Singh of Bakersfield, California was arrested Thursday at the Pilot Truck Stop in Hampton. Prosecutors revealed that Singh was found with 50 kilos of MDMA, with an estimated street value of $3.2 million. The drug, known as molly, is both a stimulant and a hallucinogen.

Singh was arrested without incident and charged with possession with intent to distribute. The New Jersey State Police assisted in the arrest operations. After his first court appearance, Singh was released under specific conditions.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Rosie Bolte will handle the case for the state, while Herminia Moreira, Esq, represented Singh. Possession of large amounts of MDMA is a first-degree felony, punishable by penalties including 10 to 20 years in prison and fines of up to $200,000. Singh remains legally innocent until proven guilty.

  • Someone is stealing airbags in Frederick

    Frederick, MD – The Frederick Police Department has noticed an increase in airbag thefts in the city, mostly involving Honda vehicles. Thieves reportedly break car windows to gain access to these vehicles and remove airbags from the steering columns.

    It is suspected that the stolen airbags were sold to retailers or suppliers. Authorities are appealing to residents, especially in the Wyngate and Carrollton neighborhoods, to help. Anyone with information or surveillance footage is urged to contact the Frederick Police Department at 301-600-2102.

  • Woman in shock after trash can was thrown at home The window of her home in Wilkes Barre

    Wilkes-Barre, PA – On October 14 at 8:32 PM, a criminal incident was reported to the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department. Officers responded to the scene on Brown Street in response to the report.

    The victim, a 35-year-old woman from Wilkes-Barre, stated that an unknown suspect threw a garbage can at an exterior window at the rear of the home. This action broke the window.

    Police have not yet identified the suspect and the investigation is ongoing. The case is being handled under IRC number 240223298.

    Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department.
