Girl, 13, charged with violent disorder after riot in County Road

She is the 93rd person charged with violent disorder in the region

A 13-year-old girl has been charged in connection with a violent disorder that took place on August 3 in County Road, Walton. The girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, from Anfield, was charged with violent disorder, theft and theft by discovery.

She will appear at Liverpool Youth Court and is the 93rd person to be charged as part of the investigation. So far, 130 people have been arrested and 71 people have been sentenced to a total of 152 years and 6 months.


The latest people to be charged with violent disorder include a 33-year-old man from Wigan and 20-year-old Harry Conway, from Vivian Drive, Birkdale, who threw missiles at police. He was convicted for his role in the violent disorder in Southport after being identified on CCTV footage.
