Two people are in hospital after a crash on Highway 410 in Brampton Sunday morning.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said the single-vehicle collision occurred in the southbound lanes near Steeles Avenue shortly after 11 a.m.

Peel paramedics told CP24 they transported two people to hospital, one with life-threatening injuries and the other with serious injuries.

Both individuals are in stable condition and their injuries are now considered non-life-threatening, the OPP said.

The cause of the accident is unknown.

The southbound lanes of the 410 Freeway are closed at Steeles Avenue during the investigation. Peel Police say all highway on-ramps are also closed.
