Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes spoke to BBC Sport after today’s draw: “Everyone knows how much I wanted the goal to come. I need to help the team with goals and assists. It has been one of the most disappointing things this season, but I got some of that in the Cup. Now scoring in the Premier League.

“It was a big disappointment in the locker room. We could have won the game.”

On what has changed after Ten Hag: “Not much has changed. In the middle of the week the goals came in. I told some friends that everything will come to us and people will say that we want the coach to be fired. We understand the point and we can be happy about that. We need to be disappointed because we are way back in the league.”
