    70-year-old man dies in North Philadelphia house fire

    Crews fight fires through the night

    One firefighter was injured and, according to sources, another person died during the overnight fires.

    PHILADELPHIA – Philadelphia police say a house fire claimed the life of a 70-year-old man Saturday night.

    Fire crews responded to the fire in the 1600 block of Fontain Street around 10:43 p.m. He was controlled less than 30 minutes later.

    The man’s body was found inside the home. His identity has not yet been revealed.

    The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
