NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – A man was shot early Sunday morning (Nov. 3) in the French Quarter, New Orleans police said.

The victim’s age and condition were not released, but police said New Orleans EMS personnel took him to the hospital for treatment.

Initial reports said the man was shot at 12:22 a.m. near the intersection of Royal and St. Ann streets. The NOPD has not released the circumstances of the shooting.
