One man was killed and two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision.

A gray BMW estate and a black Renault Clio were involved in a collision on the A34 Stone Road, near Stoke-on-Trent, at around 20:30 GMT on Saturday, Staffordshire Police said.

The 21-year-old driver of the BMW was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger of the BWM and the driver of the other vehicle were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the crash, which took place on the south side of the road between Trentham Gardens and Monkey Forest Island, is asked to contact police.
