Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have stood by Jason Kelce after his shocking altercation with a football fan.

Older brother Kelce, who retired from NFL Earlier this year, he was at Penn State on Saturday, Nov. 2 for a college game when the incident unfolded.

While walking through a crowd outside Beaver Stadium, a fan directed a homophobic slur toward travisand recorded himself yelling, “Hey Kelce, how does it feel like your brother is screwed over dating? Taylor Swift?”

Footage circulating on social media shows Jason grabbing the fan’s phone and smashing it to the ground.

“Who the fuck is now?” he responds, picking up the phone and walking away with it.

While the Kelce brothers have yet to officially comment on the incident, a source close to Travis and Swift has revealed their reaction.

“Taylor and Travis were really surprised by this considering Jason is one of the nicest guys in the world,” the source told the Daily Mail.

“It really became clear how much he loves and respects Taylor. Travis means the world to him.

“Using the word fuck is not okay for him or anyone. This fan crossed the line. Jason will never tolerate anyone insulting his family and now sees Taylor as family.”

After the images were shared on social media, Jason also received support for his response.

“I shouldn’t say it, but whatever. I appreciate Jason Kelce defend his family,” Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas wrote in X.

Meanwhile, former NFL player Antonio Brown wrote: “I say well for Jason Kelce. There’s comedy and entertainment. And then there’s crossing the line with family.”

Hundreds of other fans also expressed their support for X, responding to the video.

Jason has previously spoken of being a big fan of Swift and described her as “immensely talented”.

“She is a global star, she is the artist par excellence right now in the world,” he said in February.

“(She is) immensely talented, an incredible role model for young women around the world.

“I think the NFL would probably be foolish not to showcase her and not be a role model for all the young girls.”

Jason’s next public appearance is expected Monday night, when he heads to Kansas City to call Travis in NFL action for the Chiefs against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on ESPN.
