PIKE COUNTY, Miss. (WLBT) – A fight between several people at the Uptown McComb shopping center led to a false active shooter alarm Saturday.

According to the Pike County Sheriff’s Department, dispatch received a call at approximately 2:00 pm reporting an active shooter inside the shopping center.

When authorities arrived, they investigated and discovered there were no active shooters.

Several people were fighting inside the shopping center.
