The second round of the Women’s Euro 2025 qualifying play-off begins on November 28 | Women’s European Qualifiers

The final seven places for the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 in Switzerland will be decided when the second play-off round takes place on 28-29 November and 3 December.

  • Wales have never qualified for a major tournament and this is their first time in the Women’s Euro play-offs, although they reached this stage for the 2023 World Cup (beating Bosnia and Herzegovina before losing to Switzerland in extra time). .
  • Ireland aspires to debut at the EURO (after having lost a play-off in 2009 against Iceland), but qualified for the 2023 World Cup, winning the play-off 1-0 in Scotland.
  • Wales won 2-0 in Dublin in a friendly in February, although Ireland have emerged victorious in five of these teams’ six official meetings (winning all three away games without conceding a goal).

Poland vs Austria

  • Poland debuts in the play-offs of a major tournament in search of its first qualification.
