Strictly’s Wynne Evans and Katya Jones tackle ‘inappropriate’ behaviour

Wynne chimed in, “Yes, sorry!”

The short clip ended with Katya grimacing and Wynne visibly cringing.

He added: “Apologies for that, we were just messing around tonight. We are really great friends. The high 5’s are a running joke. Have a nice evening’.

In the comments, followers expressed their support, with many commenting on how “amazing” their relationship seems.

‘You didn’t do anything wrong!! 😍,” wrote user kyangriffiths.

“Glad you came out right away to get rid of that nonsense!” I loved your dance tonight ❤️,” trahoney responded.

“Honestly devastated that you both feel like you have to apologize. Neither of you have done anything wrong at all. My absolute favorites from week one and your dance tonight was fantastic 😊,” lizzie_gp12 added.

This isn’t the first time one of Katya’s Strictly partnerships has made headlines.

Last year, actor Nigel Harman denied that the so-called curse had affected their couple, tellingly Subway that he ‘couldn’t be less interested’ in the speculation that things were getting cozy in the rehearsal room.

And of course, Katya’s face was all over the papers in 2018 when she shared a kiss with comedian Seann Walsh, who were both in a relationship at the time.

Both stars subsequently issued a groveling apology, with Seann admitting that the aftermath was “the most depressing month of (his) life” as his career was “dead.”

Katya stayed with husband Neil Jones for ten months before they finally split after seven years of marriage.

Elsewhere in Strictly Land, rumors have been going around for years that more than just dancing happens during training.

However, it all came to a head in recent months when an investigation was launched.

The internal investigation was sparked by official complaints from Amanda Abbington, who accused Giovanni of ‘bullying’.

Meanwhile, Grazino was accused of kicking Love Islander Zara McDermott, emphatically stating that he is ‘not an abusive man’.

After a months-long investigation, the BBC upheld several complaints against Giovanni, but acquitted him of the most serious allegations of ‘physical aggression’.

The broadcaster has therefore promised to tackle the abuse.

The BBC’s investigation aims to ‘ensure that the consequences of inappropriate behavior and abuse of power are understood by everyone’.

A report will be published next spring.
