Hollyoaks video ‘seals’ Dillon’s fate as Lucas reunites with Frankie | Soaps

Lucas Hay (Oscar Curtis) hosts his long-awaited return to Hollyoaks next week and there’s one person who’s more excited than anyone to see him.

In the above clip, taken from Wednesday’s edition (October 16) of the Channel 4 soap, Frankie Osborne (Isabelle Smith) is overwhelmed by being reunited with her best friend as she stretches her arms out to give him a big hug.

Lucas, who served a prison sentence with young offenders, is just as excited to see his mate as he picks Frankie up during their cuddle and spins her around, putting the biggest smile on his face as he does so.

Real friendship goals.

“I missed you so much,” he says, before rushing off to visit Ste (Kieron Richardson), who only recently woke up from his year-long coma, meaning Lucas hasn’t seen his father awake in a long time. .

Frankie watches with a smile before disappearing from view, while Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass) creeps out of the shadows and watches closely with a concerned look on his face.

As viewers know, Dillon was confirmed to be the father of Leah Barnes’ (Ela-May Demircan) baby, meaning he cheated on boyfriend Lucas – with his own sister.

The twist came as a huge shock to fans considering how hard Dillon fought for him and Lucas to be together. Star Nathaniel Dass said the reaction was ‘pretty honest’ when he caught up with Metro on the red carpet at the Inside Soap Awards. while co-star Oscar Curtis added that it was “pretty justified.”

“It’s a big twist,” Nathaniel said, revealing that he and Oscar didn’t expect it either. ‘But it’s all part of the fun of being in a soap, the twists!’.

When Lucas returns, Frankie has just discovered Dillon’s secret and becomes conflicted about whether or not she should tell her best friend that his friend cheated on him.

Dillon begs her to stick to her shtum, but Frankie refuses. However, Lucas is reunited with Dillon moments later and shares the greatest of all hugs with his beloved friend at Price Slice.

The question is: will the boys’ heartfelt reunion leave Frankie with doubts? Or will she think Lucas deserves to know the truth?

One to watch: Wednesday October 16 at 7pm on E4 or stream from 7am on Channel 4 streaming.
