Delhi court sentences man to 7 years RI in 2021 robbery case – The Week

Due to the seriousness of the crime and the unsatisfactory behavior of the convict in prison, he was not entitled to any provision for the grant of probation.
“Considering the facts, circumstances, submissions made and aggravating and mitigating circumstances, this court is of the view that the interest of justice would be fulfilled if the convict is sentenced to rigorous imprisonment for a period of five years along with a fine of Rs 15,000 for the offense under Section 392 of the IPC,” the court said.
