The league phase of the second edition of the UEFA Women’s Nations League begins on Friday 21 February. Find out all the games as League A teams compete for the final places, with promotion and relegation also on the line in all leagues.

The group standings also determine the teams that will contest the promotion and relegation matches to establish their starting league position in the Women’s European Qualifiers for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027, which runs until 2026.

Who plays in the UEFA Women’s Nations League final?

The four winners of the League A group qualify for the knockout phase.

How do the UEFA Women’s Nations League finals work?

Unlike the first edition, all qualifiers will be played over two games. As before, there will be two semi-finals, a match for third place and a final. A draw will determine the playoffs and the home team in each of the first legs.

The final winners are declared winners of the UEFA Nations League.

Who is promoted, relegated or goes to the play-offs?

League A

The top two teams in each group remain in League A for the European qualifiers for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The four third-place teams face two matches against the second-place teams in each League B group. The winners of each tie will play in League A for the European qualifiers; The defeated teams will play in League B.

The fourth-place teams are relegated to League B.

B League

The four group winners are promoted to League A.

The four second-placed teams face two matches against the third-placed teams in League A. The winners of each tie will play in League A; The defeated teams will play in League B.

The two best third-placed teams face two matches against the two best second-placed teams in League C. The winners will play in League B for the European qualifying phase; The defeated teams will play in League C.

The two lowest-ranked third-place teams and the four fourth-place teams are relegated to League C.
