Meanwhile, Cain can’t face the threat of losing Moira.

Tormented alone in the garage, Cain struggles to cope with the uncertain future.

A special episode will follow Moira’s brain surgery and how Cain’s day goes as he struggles with his emotions.

Cain’s story will unfold in reverse chronological order and begins with Caleb disappointed to find Cain drunk and with bloody hands.

Moira Barton actress Natalie J Robb has revealed how Moira is dealing with her ordeal and how it is different to how Cain deals with her.

She told The Sun and other media outlets: “They’re both terrified, he’s really scared of losing her, so I can say that on Jeff’s behalf.

“And when Cain is out of control, that’s when Cain does things that are out of control himself, he can’t control the situation. He’s afraid because it’s something big.

“Moira is absolutely terrified, mainly because she could lose him but never see her children again and obviously she has already experienced a loss and the last thing she wants is for her to abandon her children, so it’s really about her children and lose them.

“And feeling very vulnerable, Moira is like a bit of an ox, she has a strong character and suddenly she almost loses her identity and little by little she loses little pieces of her.

“And the fear that after the operation he will be completely right. Will they remove that little piece of his brain that makes him headbutt people when he gets angry?”

Trouble is brewing for the couple, as the actress shared how Cain internalizes everything.

She added: “Moira knows that with him, that’s why she’s always checking on him and worrying, she’ll always know when something isn’t quite right, while Moira is trying to get it all out, because for her this could be the last time she do it.” say it, so it’s important for her to vocalize things.

“But she’s always been more outspoken, and that’s why they work a lot of the time because they’re yin and yang, she’s a great communicator and he’s not. But when they communicate, it just works. It’s kind of like a lot of marriages. “

The star spoke about the emotional scenes while preparing a will, saying: “I take Matty to Holly’s grave beforehand and let them know how much I love them. But I think the main thing is that I write the will, and Cain just doesn’t.” does”. I want to have something to do with it.

Moira Barton’s biggest Emmerdale stories

Played by Natalie J. Robb, Moira has become one of Emmerdale’s standout characters since her debut in 2009.

AFFAIR WITH CAIN DINGLE

In October 2011, Moira began an affair with Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), whom he had previously hated.

At the time, she was married to her first husband and childhood sweetheart, John (James Thornton).

THE DEATH OF JOHN

In the characters’ backstory, John and Moira had been married since 1990. They shared three children: Adam, Hannah (now Matty), and Holly.

As John struggled to forgive Moira’s infidelity, he also realized he couldn’t live without her.

In short, the character of Juan was written by having a car accident and fatal cardiac arrest.

Moira and Cain subsequently began a relationship and later got married.

THE FATHERHOOD OF ADAM

It turned out that Cain wasn’t the first man Moira had an affair with.

She previously slept with John’s brother James (Bill Ward), with the revelation that he is the biological father of her son Adam.

MURDER OF EMMA BARTON

Emma (Gillian Kearney), James’ ex-wife, was introduced as a soap villain and reunited with her clan after two decades.

In October 2017, Emma was murdered in a who’s-truth story after being pushed off a viaduct.

He last reappeared in December 2017 for a flashback, where his killer was revealed to be his archenemy Moira.

“She’s very brave because that’s the real turning point, where she goes: ‘Okay, I’m going to face this.’ It’s a combination of that, I think she walks around a little bit remembering her farm, but that’s it, just remembering all while it’s still good and while it still has it.”

Speaking about the response from her fans, Natalie said: “I was so excited, everyone was saying, ‘Were you worried about getting killed?’ She assured me right away and when people decide to do that for you, that’s in the lap of the gods, there’s nothing you can do about it.

“But I was excited because it’s been a while since I’ve had a story, and I have to say, the feedback I’ve had with people on social media, the number of people who are actually going through this in real life.” Life is extraordinary, I had no idea. So it’s been great that we’ve raised awareness and that people have been able to relate to it.”

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV1 and is available on ITVX.
