BLISSFIELD, Mich. (WTVG) – Blissfield authorities said one person was arrested after authorities found a 34-year-old man dead.

Police responded to a report of a person found unconscious at an undisclosed location on Nov. 7, according to Blissfield Police Chief Dale Greenleaf. Paul Jones, 34, was dead.

Police said Tuesday that the investigation led to the arrest of one person, but have not yet released the name of the specific charges. Authorities also seized suspected heroin, cocaine and fentanyl that they estimate has a street value of $100,000. They also took pistols, rifles and cash.

The cause of Jones’ death is pending a full autopsy and toxicology examination by the Lenawee County Medical Examiner, police said.

Blissfield Police said those with information can contact Blissfield Police, Lenawee County Crime Stoppers or the Michigan State Police Irish Hills Region Narcotics Bureau (RHINO) task force and remain anonymous if they wish.
