ATHENS, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Attorneys for accused murderer of nursing student Laken Riley will appear in an Athens-Clarke County courtroom Tuesday morning.

A hearing for José Ibarra is scheduled one day before Jury selection in his trial is expected to begin..

The hearing could address what evidence and testimony jurors can see and hear.

It comes after an Athens judge denied a request to exclude mobile phone and social media evidence from the trial.

Ibarra is accused of killing Riley in February on the University of Georgia campus.
