GLENDALE, AZ (AZ Family) — One person is in critical condition after a car crashed into a home in Glendale Sunday night.

At 7:40 p.m., police responded to reports of an accident in a neighborhood southeast of 67th Avenue and Beardsley Road.

When they arrived at the scene, they saw the car crashed into a house. Police said there were people inside the home and one of them is currently hospitalized with serious injuries.

Officers said it is unclear how the driver lost control of the vehicle. Deterioration is not ruled out.

At this time no details are known about the driver or the victim. It is unknown if there are any other injuries.

It is believed that the speed and deterioration of the vehicle were factors that caused the accident. No other information has been released.
