Danger! Fans received exciting news on Monday, November 11, especially for those who accepted Ken Jennings as franchise leader.

Season 3 of Celebrity Danger! premieres Wednesday, January 8 at 9 pm on ABC and Hulu. The official announcement came via press release and included the first confirmation that Jennings would continue to host the spin-off, not its former co-host. Mayim Bialik.

In its press release, ABC shared that the Celebrity Danger! The premiere will follow the series premiere of Gear change and the long awaited Abbott Elementary/It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia crossover episode. “new episodes of Celebrity Danger! presented by Ken Jennings, and What would you do? complete the evening.”

Danger! Producers recently shared that filming for the star-studded spinoff was underway earlier this month and provided some details. Once again, it will be one hour long, include the Triple Jeopardy round, and will be conducted tournament style. Celebrity Danger! Season 3’s contestants and schedule have not been announced, but it will likely follow the previous two seasons of the rebooted special and air weekly. “I’m definitely still a fan of the show and I’m very honored to have been nominated for an Emmy for my work there,” Bialik told Fox News. “That’s something I had to change my bio for, which is why I was nominated Danger! So yeah, it’s something I’m still very proud of. And yes, we will see what happens this season.”

The announcement would seem to make clear that the Danger!-verse moves forward without Bialik, whose The profile was deleted from Dangerwebsite! shortly before the current season began.
