Wilsonville man arrested as suspect in death of 70-year-old father

WILSONVILLE Ore. (KPTV) – A Wilsonville man was arrested Sunday morning in connection with the death of his 70-year-old father.

On Saturday morning, Clackamas County Sheriff’s deputies were called to reports of a suspicious circumstance at a home on South Ellis Road, south of Molalla.

When officers arrived, they found Michael James McCann, of Molalla, dead with multiple gunshot wounds outside the home.

McCann’s son, Michael Morris McCann, 34, was arrested Sunday morning by a SWAT team at his home in Wilsonville. He was booked into the county jail charged with second-degree murder and unlawful use of a weapon.
