TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A crash left a woman dead and two children seriously injured Monday morning in east Tallahassee, according to Tallahassee Police.

Police said the crash occurred shortly before 9 a.m. at East Tennessee Street and North Franklin Boulevard.

A pickup truck was traveling east on East Tennessee Street when police said it lost control, went over the median and collided with a sedan traveling west on East Tennessee Street.

The woman inside the sedan died from her injuries, according to TPD. Two children who were also inside the sedan were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck was treated at the scene, according to the TPD news release.
