Sonoma County sheriff’s deputies responded Sunday afternoon to a reported shooting at Ernie’s Tin Bar, southeast of Petaluma, authorities said.

Dispatchers from Redcom, the county’s emergency fire and medical service, told The Press Democrat that at least one person had suffered gunshot wounds and that authorities were on the scene around 4 p.m. They said they had no further details.

The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office, which is leading the investigation, could not immediately be reached for comment.

Ernie’s Tin Bar, located at 5100 Lakeville Highway, has been a local fixture for more than a century.
