    While Hamilton County has turned politically blue, some regions remain red.

    Tuesday’s election results The night showed that Democrats dominated the city while the western suburbs remained Republican territory.

    Vice President Kamala Harris he won Hamilton County 57% to 42%. Trump still won the western suburbs of Cincinnati with 66% of the vote.

    So which areas are the most Trumpist? Where did Harris find the most support?

    North Bend the most Trumpist

    The small town of North Bend, near the Ohio River in western Hamilton County, can count two United States presidents as its former residents: the ninth president, William Henry Harrison, and his grandson, Benjamin Harrison, who served a term as the nation’s 23rd president. The elder Harrison is still there, buried on a hillside inside an imposing stone monument.

    North Bend also has the largest concentration of Trump voters. Of the 588 North Bend residents who voted this year, 80% voted for Trump, more than any community in the region.

    Lincoln Heights the most pro-Harris

    In the predominantly black suburb of Lincoln Heights, north of Cincinnati, 93% of voters chose Harris. Lincoln Heights began as a housing development in the 1920s for blacks working in nearby factories and became “the first autonomous African-American community north of the Mason-Dixon line.” according to according to the city website. Today, Lincoln Heights’ population is 90% black, according to the US census

    Harris won almost everywhere in Cincinnati

    Harris won Cincinnati with 76% of the vote, about the same as Biden four years earlier, who won 77% of the vote. While she received roughly the same share of votes as Biden, Harris received 13,000 fewer votes in Cincinnati than Biden due to a slightly lower turnout.

    Harris lost only four precincts out of 191 precincts in the city limits:

    • Two precincts in Sayler Park, Cincinnati’s westernmost neighborhood. Trump beat Harris in this neighborhood by 63% to 35%.
    • A district in Sedamsville, a small western neighborhood along the Ohio River.
    • An electoral district in California, a neighborhood along the Ohio River on the eastern edge of Cincinnati.
