Three boys, one aged 14 and two aged 15, have been charged with offenses including kidnapping and robbery after a man’s car was stolen in Birmingham.

Police said he was found with leg injuries shortly before 03:00 GMT on Saturday at the junction of Gravelly Lane and Mona Road in Erdington.

The three teenagers are charged with kidnapping and robbery, and one of the 15-year-olds faces additional charges of dangerous driving and possession of a knife in a public place.

The trio are due to appear at Birmingham Youth Court on Monday, police added.
