South Korean actor Don Lee, also known as Ma Dong-seok, left his and South Star Prabhas‘ fans excited about their latest Instagram story. The actor shared a poster of Prabhas’ Salaar: Part 2 on his social media along with a thumbs-up emoji, implying that he enjoyed the action character.

Now fans of both stars have flooded the internet with comments and speculations about how we might see Lee in Prabhas’ Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s next directorial Spirit.

“Damn, Don Leee in an Indian movie, who would have thought, then the spirit will be a battle between two pookiesss, it will be the first SRV movie I see! (sic),” one comment read. Another user wrote: “He’s coming for Spirit. Fasten seat belts! (sic).” Another user mentioned in a comment: “If she is really doing spirit then Vanga is cooking something huge (sic).”

Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga had announced Spirit with Prabhas in the lead last year. The project marks the couple’s first collaboration together.

In a throwback interview with Galatta Plus, Sandeep Reddy Vanga mentioned that Spirit’s budget was Rs 300 crore. He also expressed his confidence in the film and mentioned that it would generate Rs 150 crore in theaters on its first day.

Explaining the same, he said, “I think because of the kind of budget they are putting in, I feel the producer is safe. With Prabhas and my combination, along with the digital and satellite rights, we can recover our budget right there. If everything goes “Well, with the trailer, teaser and pre-release of the songs and whatever we do to grab the attention of the public, the opening day would be Rs 150 crore. It is a commercial calculation. It should be global or pan-India.”

A release date for Spirit has yet to be announced.
