The Tigers collapse against the Tide in a 42-13 defeat

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – The LSU Tigers came into Saturday’s game against the Alabama Crimson Tide fresh off a bye week and still smarting from a loss the week before to Texas A&M, their first loss since the season opener .

The Tide would go up first, scoring their first touchdown early in the first quarter. They would then continue to outscore the Tigers in the first half, going into halftime with a 21-6 lead, limiting LSU to just two field goals.

The Tigers saw little difference in the second half, unable to stop the Tide offense as they racked up touchdowns and LSU’s offense was unable to do the same.

Even with a last-minute touchdown by LSU, Alabama would take the 42-13 victory Saturday night in Death Valley.

LSU’s next game will be a road game against the Florida Gators on Saturday, November 16.

The start is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
