Thousands of Ole Miss fans and a five-star Auburn team stormed the Vaught-Hemingway Stadium field on Saturday.

Quarterback Deuce Knight, who has been committed to Auburn for more than a month, took an official visit to Oxford for the Rebels’ game against Georgia on Saturday. When the old lady finished off a 28-10 victory Above the Bulldogs, Knight ran onto the field through the crowd, phone held high in his hand.

Knight, from George County High School in Lucedale, Mississippi, is the fourth quarterback in the 2025 signing class. according to the 247 Sports composite ranking. He turned to brown from Notre Dame on October 2.

Knight’s visit to Ole Miss was described as something of a surprise by journalists covering the Rebels. Also present was Alabama 5-star wide receiver Caleb Cunningham, who comes from Choctaw County High School in Ackerman, Miss.

It’s possible, if not likely, that Knight’s assault on the field at Oxford on Saturday was simply a “when in Rome” moment. But it’s just one more thing Auburn fans get nervous about.
