Colder temperatures and dangerous conditions on beaches this weekend

CORPUS CHRISTI, Tx – Good evening, Coastal Bend! We are feeling some fall-like temperatures this weekend. If you plan to hit the beach, keep in mind that conditions are still a little rough while Rafael hangs out in the Gulf of Mexico.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

We continue to monitor Tropical Storm Rafael and its impacts along the Texas coast. For us here at home, it is important for us to know that rip currents and minor coastal flooding will be watches that we will continue to see until about Monday, as Rafael meanders south toward the Bay of Campeche.

Weather KRIS 6

As for our weather pattern this weekend, we will see and feel sunny temperatures around 80 degrees all day and around 60 degrees at night. We will have a similar weather pattern as we approach our work week. Rain chances will also remain low this weekend.
