RUTHERFORD COUNTY, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Rutherfordton Police Department is searching for a suspect with SC plates after responding to a shooting Saturday morning that left one victim dead.

Officers report they responded to Amendment 21 Pub and Grill on Main Street at 1:45 a.m. Saturday and located a man with multiple gunshot wounds.

According to police, the victim was flown to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, where he died.

The victim has not yet been identified by the coroner.

Officers report that Ricky Tyrone Camp, 36, has been charged with first-degree murder and is believed to be possibly “armed and dangerous.”

Camp is 6 feet, weighs 270 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes and was seen driving a black 1999-2006 Chevy Tahoe with South Carolina license plates, police said.
