NHL Betting on Saturday, November 9 Prop Success Rates for Players of the Five Most Public Teams

It’s been a long week.

The clocks went back an hour last Sunday and the days have never felt shorter. You wake up and it’s dark outside. You’re driving home from work and it’s dark outside.

In a world full of darkness it is important to find sources of light, no matter their size.

Fortunately for all hockey fans in Canada, we have another Saturday full of NHL action to distract us from the deep darkness that consumes us throughout this time of year.

And fortunately for me, we have the most popular works of the public for tonight’s programming, which have automatically disappeared for the first four weeks of the season.

If you’re new here, first of all I’m sorry, every week I take the public’s three most popular money line picks for Saturday night NHL and put them head to head with a coin.

I wasn’t sure where this public versus currency experiment would take us, but as we enter the second weekend of November, I have one important takeaway: Not all of you are very good at this.

But fear not, maybe darker days and spending more time indoors will help. Maybe it will give everyone more time to get into the lab and whip up some winners. For your sake I hope you do. Because we were 12 games into this little experiment, the coin took an early lead and never looked back.

But before we get to the flips, let’s take a look at the FanDuel betting data and identify some plus-money props to consider for tonight’s list.

Be sure to scroll to the bottom of the article to see what the coin likes this week, along with a TikTok video of the coin flips and a rundown of all the picks to start the season.

Jonathan Quick will make his third start of the year for the New York Rangers as he looks to improve to 3-0 on the season. Quick is 20-6-2 with the Rangers since joining the team last season and is 16-14-1 in 31 games with a 2.78 goals-against average and a .906 save percentage. against the Red Wings in his career.

New York aims for a season sweep against Detroit after a 4-1 victory at Madison Square Garden on Oct. 14 before posting a 5-2 victory at Little Caesars Arena three days later.

Meanwhile, the Carolina Hurricanes (10-2) will look to maintain their winning ways against the Colorado Avalanche (6-8).

Pyotr Kochetkov is expected to start for Carolina, he is 1-1 against the Avalanche in his career. In his only start in Colorado, Kochetkov allowed six goals on 27 shots in a 6-4 loss.

Finally, the Florida Panthers look to extend their winning streak to seven when they host the Philadelphia Flyers.

Alternate captain Matthew Tkachuk will play in his 600th career game tonight. He has 14 points in 15 career games against the Flyers.

Canadian Team Anytime Scorer Same Parlay Game of the Week

Between a George Michael tribute show on Thursday and a visit to the theater on Saturday, it’s been a busy week for my mom.

She and I have been like two ships passing through the night all week and we never had a chance to sit down and negotiate.

Still, he found time this afternoon to lock down “#13 on the Montreal Canadiens” via text right before the show started.

While I never received an explanation, I can only assume it has something to do with the fact that the Habs are my uncle Nick’s favorite team, they play the Toronto Maple Leafs and she likes number 13.

So with Cole Caufield locked up, I’ll add Bobby McMann as the second and make it a mother-son combination this week.

McMann has two goals in three games against the Canadiens in his young career and comes into this game without scoring in 11 consecutive games.

McMann wears number 74 for the Leafs, 7+4= 11. He hasn’t scored in 11 games.

Now let’s add the number of players in this parlay to that number 11: 11 + 2 = 13. There’s the lucky number 13 again. It all makes sense.

Caufield-McMann Anytime Goal Parlay +1150.

PUBLIC VS. COIN

Last Saturday was another winning week for the coin, beating the Nashville Predators and St. Louis Blues.

Meanwhile, Johnny Public has continued to struggle going 0-3, falling to 3-9 on the season.

The coin (7-5) looks to extend its lead again this week. Here are the selections:

Audience: Rangers, Hurricanes, Panthers

Currency: Red Wings, Avalanche, Flyers
