The first twelve episodes of the first season gave anime fans a compelling story with a world much like our own, without much of a warning. Jinwoo Sung’s world is one that sees supernatural hunters and gates presenting deadly challenges to the mundane world, but the anime’s protagonist has an unexpected advantage in his life. While Jinwoo was initially considered the world’s worst hunter, a life-or-death scenario has given him a power that could make him one of the world’s best. As the second season approaches, the WEBTOON anime adaptation has a new trailer that will have fans excited.

Solo levelingfor those who may not be aware, it first appeared on the scene as a South Korean WEBTOON in 2016.following its protagonist as he tried to make a living as a hunter. Although he was considered the worst hunter, there were still some interesting routes Sung would take to bring home the bacon. When a mission goes wrong inside a gate, Jinwoo is given the power to level up thanks to a mysterious game called “The System.” While still trying to “hide his true power level,” Jinwoo now has many new doors to open ahead of him.

Solo Leveling -Awakening- follow the steps of Attack on Titan: The Last Attack, Demon Slayer: Hashira’s Trainingand Dandadan: the first meeting in the sense that it is a compilation film. Instead of weaving a completely new story for Jinwoo independent of the anime series, like Dragon Ball Super: Superhero, -Awakening- It will be a summary of the first season and will house the first two episodes of the second season. If you’re looking to see this one in theaters, you’re in luck.

The film will arrive in South Korea and Japan later this month, on November 28 and 29 respectively. Luckily for Western anime fans, the Solo leveling The film has confirmed that it will have a limited screening on the big screen in North America. Anime fans will have the opportunity to see this film in theaters on December 6 in the West, giving viewers a head start on the second season.. For those waiting for the official arrival of the second season on the small screen, Solo leveling It will return in January 2025.

Where do we leave Jinwoo?

Despite Jinwoo’s improvement in Solo leveling In the first season, the road has not been easy for the protagonist who once held the title of Worst Hunter in the World. Trying to take care of his family financially and dealing with a mortally ill mother who is barely clinging to life, the anime hero has taken on a task that could prove to be his downfall. Given a new mysterious tower to overcome, Sung has been told by the “System” that if he can overcome this new challenge before him, he will be granted an elixir that can cure any illness. Of course, this works perfectly in terms of saving his mother.

By defeating his most powerful opponent to date, Commander Red Blood Igris, Jinwoo had the opportunity to not only level up significantly but also choose a new class. In the final moments of the first season finale, the anime’s hero becomes a necromancer, giving him power over the dead and a level of sorcery that didn’t exist before. While this may not mean victory is assured, Sung is on his way to becoming one of the most powerful hunters in the world.
