Windsor Police Issue Arrest Warrant for Violent Robbery Suspect

Windsor police are searching for a suspect responsible for an assault in the city’s east end that left a man seriously injured.

Officers responded to the 5200 block of Tecumseh Road East around 9 a.m. Thursday after a man was found in an alley with life-threatening injuries.

The victim was rushed to hospital and remains in intensive care.

The police said The victim had been brutally attacked by another man after the two left a nearby establishment together around 2:30 am. Surveillance footage obtained by police showed the suspect punching the victim several times in the head.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Charles Leighton Taylor Pinnace, 34, who is wanted on charges of aggravated assault and robbery with violence.

Pinnace is described as a black male, about five feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds. He has black dreadlocks and brown eyes.

Police said he should be considered dangerous. If you recognize him, do not approach him and call 911 immediately.
