OAKHURST, Calif. (KFSN) — One person is dead after flames tore through a mobile home park in Madera County on Friday.

The fire started around 4 p.m. at Whispering Pines Mobile Home Park in Oakhurst.

The Madera County Sheriff’s Office has not yet identified the person who died.

Two mobile homes were destroyed by the fire, displacing an unknown number of people.

Investigators are still working to determine what caused the flames.
