Before Friday’s game Finch was asked if he had experienced anything like this before.

“Maybe he was trying to figure that out,” Finch said. “We could have done it, but it seems crazy. It becomes a little bit like a playoff series, making adjustments between games when you normally prepare for a game, prepare for a scout.

“You start from scratch and take what you know from the last time you played a team. Playing these little series is like the playoffs. You make quick adjustments here and there and move on.”
