Maine magazine Uncle Henry’s stops production; The final number will arrive next week.

MAINE – A Maine magazine that was featured on the History Channel reality series “Down East Dickering” is closing its doors.

Uncle Henry’s stopped production Thursday because the company that prints the magazine is closing permanently and the Uncle Henry team couldn’t find a company to print the magazine.

“This is the fourth printer we have used that has closed its doors,” reads a message posted on the door of Uncle Henry’s office in Augusta.

Uncle Henry’s was a weekly publication that featured classified ads.

There will be one final issue of Uncle Henry’s hitting stores on Thursday, November 14.

“Thank you for being part of our family every Thursday for the last 55 years,” the company said in its message.
