The Angels and Diamond Sports Group have reached agreement on a new deal that will allow fans to watch games on FanDuel Sports Network, through cable providers or by subscribing to a streaming service, a source said.

FanDuel Sports Network was formerly known as Bally Sports.

The deal is expected to be announced in the coming days. The duration of the new agreement is unclear. The price of the subscription service is to be determined.

Under the previous agreement with Diamond, Southern California fans did not have access to Bally Sports West broadcasts without subscribing to a third-party cable provider that carried the network.

The sports media landscape has been changing for years as increasing numbers of viewers abandon cable in favor of streaming services. That bankrupted Diamond, which operated several regional sports networks under the Bally Sports name.
