The 55-year-old actress, who wowed at the premiere of Red One earlier this week, recently surprised many on social media who have just discovered that her incredible hidden talent outside of the big screen is painting.

The talented actress dabbles in all types of visual art mediums, including ink drawings, paintings, screen prints, and collages, but is probably best known for her erotic lesbian paintings.

An X (formally Twitter) user drew attention to her work outside of film and television when they recently posted a photo of Lucy in front of one of her best-known works.

They wrote: ‘I discovered by chance that Lucy Liu is not only a good actress. She is an artist known for her lesbian paintings under the pseudonym Yu Ling (her real name).

He explained the change to The Hollywood Reporter in February 2019 as he said: “It was a form of protection and also to allow the viewer to have a very clear and open mind when coming to see the works.”

Lucy has had a successful artistic career that has spanned more than three decades.

In 1993 he had his first solo exhibition, titled Unraveling, at the Cast Iron Gallery in New York and since then his art has been exhibited and collected around the world.

According to Lucy’s art dealer, Daniel Chen, her pieces typically sell for between $10,000 and $50,000.

Lucy’s professional acting career has spanned as long as her professional painting career, as her first acting job was as Donna in the 1992 Hong Kong drama film, Rhythm Of Destiny.

She has had a very successful career that included two Charlie’s Angels films (2000 and 2003), Kill Bill: Volume 1, and starred in the Why Women Kill series from 2019 to 2021.
