City of Pinckneyville to hold meeting Tuesday | News

PINCKNEYVILLE, Ill. — The City of Pinckneyville will hold a meeting at 6 pm on Tuesday, November 12 at 104 South Walnut Street.

The meeting will be as follows:

GUIDELINES FOR PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN MUNICIPAL COUNCIL MEETINGS

Members of the public are welcome to City Council meetings and may address the Council during public comment. To place a specific item on the meeting agenda, a member of the public requesting an addition to the agenda must contact the City Clerk at least five (5) days before the Council meeting and provide sufficient information to allow the Municipal Secretary to determine the nature of the agenda item. The Council requests that the public avoid repeated appearances before the Council with the same matter. Comments should be limited to approximately five (5) minutes. Groups wishing to address the Council on the same or similar topics must select a spokesperson to present the concerns of group members.

2. Resolution No. R-2024-45, resolution to be filed, authorizing the City of Pinckneyville, Perry County, Illinois, to accept a proposal from Sheffer Insurance Agency for insurance coverage through the Illinois Counties Risk Management Trust. Please see attached.

3. Resolution No. R-2024-46, a resolution estimating the amount of tax collection for the city of Pinckneyville, Perry County, Illinois, excluding the Library Fund for the fiscal year ending April 30, 2025. See attachment.

4. Resolution No. R-2024-47, a resolution estimating the amount of the Tax for the Pinckneyville Public Library of the City of Pinckneyville, Perry County, Illinois, for the fiscal year ending April 30, 2025. See attached.

5. Resolution No. R-2024-48, resolution that is filed, approving and authorizing stop loss insurance coverage with AMI Group, Inc. and Northwind. Please see attached.

MAYOR SPENCER

1. Resolution No. R-2024-42, a resolution filed at the October 28, 2024 regular council meeting, to accept a proposed bid from Samron Midwest Contracting for the reconstruction of driveways and replacement of sidewalks along along the east side of South Main Street. .

2. Ordinance No. O-2024-12, an ordinance recorded at the regular council meeting of October 28, 2024, authorizing the city of Pinckneyville to enter into a purchase contract for real property sold at the tax sale of the Perry County 2024. – 701 Peña Street.

4. Tom Ryan of New Leaf Energy, Inc., to provide updated information and request permission to move forward with the second phase of the Kiwi Road 2 Community Solar Project. Please see attached.
