Rapper Plies was not happy when he learned that convicted felon Donald Trump defeated Kamala Harris in the presidential race on Wednesday morning. The rapper didn’t mince words when he took to Instagram to address his fans. The Florida native said he expected a different outcome for this election and suggested that many of his fellow Americans prefer “darkness and division” to a Kamala Harris presidency.

The “Shawty” rapper, who was noticeably more subdued than usual, first offered words of comfort to his fans.

“If I could hug each and every one of you that needs a hug right now… and let you put your head on my shoulder and let you get what you need, God knows I would.”

He then encouraged his followers to stand firm men their political ideologies.
