STILWELL, OKLA (KTUL) — A Stilwell man has been sentenced to four years in prison for assault resulting in grievous bodily harm.

Travis Earl Eubanks, 36, pleaded guilty to the crime on May 8, 2024.

According to investigators, Eubanks assaulted a person on January 28, 2024.

The assault lasted for hours and Eubanks strangled, punched, kicked, choked and stabbed the victim.

The incident occurred inside a residence in Stilwell.

Eubanks will remain in the custody of the U.S. Marshal pending transportation to serve a 57-month non-parole sentence.
