Reopening of the disaster recovery center

LIVE OAK, Fla. (WCJB) -FEMA officials are reopening disaster recovery centers that were temporarily closed due to Election Day.

The centers, located in Dixie and Suwannee counties, are now open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Additionally, a Suwannee County D-SNAP location is opening in the Electric Cooperative building of Suwannee Valley in Live Oak.

This site will be operational starting tomorrow and will remain open through Sunday to help residents apply for food assistance. Officials also mentioned that a location in Columbia County will be announced soon.
