WEBB COUNTY, Texas (KGNS) – A search by the Webb County Cyber ​​Crimes Unit led to the arrest of a Laredo man on child pornography charges Thursday.

The Webb County Sheriff’s Cyber ​​Crimes Unit searched a home on E. Eistetter Street in Laredo on November 7, 2024. This led to the arrest of Jesus Abad Johnson, 53, for possession of child pornography, a felony third grade. .

The investigation, which included follow-up interviews, led to Johnson’s arrest. He is being held in the Webb County Jail without bail and is awaiting his first court appearance.

Officials have not shared any further information as the investigation is still ongoing.
