Police continue search for missing Tazewell man 11 years after disappearance

TAZEWELL, Va. (WDBJ) -The Wytheville Field Office of the Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation is still searching for answers on the 11th anniversary of the disappearance of a Tazewell man.

Police say Eric Grady Smith, then 42, left his home the morning of Nov. 8, 2013, and never returned. According to police, Smith was going hunting on West Hurt Buggy Road in Tazewell County.

Smith is described as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes, 6′1″ and approximately 210 pounds. Police say he was last seen wearing camouflage.

According to the police, numerous searches have been carried out without results.
