Firefighters were at the scene for approximately two hours.

The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service responded to a traffic collision between two vehicles in the Braddan Bridge area yesterday afternoon. (November 6)

Emergency services were alerted at approximately 5.50pm and dispatched a pump apparatus, an emergency rescue vehicle and a duty officer to the scene.

Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a person trapped in a vehicle due to damage to the door.

Crews were able to quickly remove the individual, who was unharmed.

Police secured a temporary road closure around the site to ensure public safety.

Fire crews remained on scene for approximately two hours to ensure the safety of the vehicle and left after the damaged vehicle was recovered.
