HUEYTOWN, Alabama (WBRC) – A 25-year-old man was killed and a 66-year-old woman was seriously injured in a crash in Hueytown on November 6.

Hueytown police and firefighters responded to the 100 block of Brooklane Drive just before 8 p.m.

The man who died has been identified as Neil Damian Sayers.

Police say Sayers was traveling south on Brooklane Drive when he crossed lanes and crashed head-on into a vehicle driven by a woman who was heading north.

Sayers died at the scene. The woman was taken to UAB Hospital with serious injuries.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and the Hueytown Police Department are investigating the crash.
